The college has recently established an Orchidarium to equip its students with knowledge of different spices of orchids their uses and the need for conservation of these orchids. At present, it houses 25 species of local orchids collected from different areas in and around the Lakhimpur district. In near future, it plans to house at least 75 -100 spices of rare local orchids.
