Admission Procedure

ADMISSION PROCEDURE :

The Academic session of the College begins from the month of June every year. Prospectus, Academic Calendar and Application Form for admission in the Higher Secondary 1st year and 1st semester of B.A/B.Sc. courses can be obtained from the office during office hours.

Admission to the college is made strictly on merit basis subjected to the approval of the Admission Committee. For SC, ST, OBC/MOBC and other communities reservation criteria is strictly maintained as Govt. rules. A few seats are allotted to students with outstanding achievements in the field of sports, culture and NCC. To avail such reservations one has to submit their applications along with attested copies of certificates supporting their proficiency in the concerned field.

Candidates are required to produce the following documents at the time of admission cum interview.

1. Original mark sheet of the last qualifying examination.
2. Original pass certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
3. Certificate of date of birth.
4. Caste Certificate from the competent authority (SC, ST, OBC and MOBC candidates)

INTERVIEW CUM ADMISSION SCHEDULE :

The dates for interview cum admission into different courses are notified through the college notice board and local dailies immediately after the declaration of the results of H.S.L.C and H.S by SEBA and AHSEC respectively. Students from boards and universities other than SEBA, AHSEC and Dibrugarh University shall have to produce migration certificates at the time of admission.
