Lakhimpur Telahi Kamalabaria College was established on the 22nd of August'1977, is situated at Azad at a distance of 8 km from Lakhimpur town. Prior to the establishment of this august institution the students of this poor agrarian economically backward locality had to face an uphill task for attaining higher education due to lack of proper communication and economic backwardness.
The vision of the College is to provide opportunity for higher education to the surrounding ST, SC, Other Backward and deprived communities. Aims of the College are to provide scope for holistic development of the students through such co-curricular activities as games and sports, music, cultural and literary activities and participation in social welfare schemes.
Lakhimpur Telahi Kamalabaria College has consistently strived for academic excellence, holistic development, and community engagement. Over the years, the institution has earned numerous achievements that reflect its dedication to quality education and student growth.
