LTK College has been trying to promote a research culture within its premise. The vision of our college is to encourage the faculty members to carry out research activities in various traditional and emerging areas with active collaboration of research groups in other prominent institutions of the country. As our institute is primarily a degree college, we have been trying to engage the young undergraduate students in basic research projects as well. A number of faculty members of the college have been carrying out research in their respective areas of interest. Many of them have carried out investigation on problems concerning the interests of the region.
In order to achieve its goal of establishing a vibrant research and training atmosphere the college has constituted a research committee that is responsible for overlooking the research activities by the faculty members.
It shall:
i) gather and disseminate information about the availability of various research grants;
ii) provide help, where sought, with the writing of proposals; and
iii) organize seminars/ workshops/ conferences/ faculty development programs etc in different areas for the faculty members.
